When it was first released, Wii Fit was revolutionary the first activity game that could actually monitor your level of effort and report your results. It was creative and robust, with enough challenges even for the already-fit. The latest release, Wii Fit Plus, adds even more exercises, activities, and options to this ingenious game. As always, you can start from absolute beginner, and customize your workouts as you get to know your body.
We LOVE Wii Fit. We were pretty fit when we started playing, but we still found heaps of challenges. One of our favorites is the hula-hoop game. We aced the right size pretty quickly, but our left side’s a little more uncoordinated. Another favorite is the bubble maze, in which you lean in different directions to navigate.
As a yogi-in-training, we were skeptical about the yoga exercises, but we found that we were able to improve our alignment using feedback from the balance board.
If you love exercise, do the exercises. If you hate exercise, play the games. Either way, it?s better than sitting on the couch. So regardless of age, size, fitness level, or goals, Wii Fit Plus will get you moving in no time.

My parents have the Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board and they really love it. It has special features which help you determine your fitness goals and even weigh you each time you play. My mom also uses it to weigh the cat and judge his fatness… it’s pretty funny. I’ve also played the Wii Fit at my parents’ house and have noticed that there are a lot of fun games on it, including a game where you are a soccer goalie and another one where you are actually pedaling around on a bicycle. My mom created an avatar for the cat so sometimes his virtual self just pops up and follows my “mii” around while I’m bicycling through the virtual terrain of Wii-land. Too cute!
I love my Wii Fit Plus. I used to belong to the gym but never had time to go. When I got the Wii Fit Plus with balance board I thought it would be a good supplement for the days I could not get to the gym. What it has become is my daily workout and if I get to the gym then great, if not, then I have still been exercising. Bike riding is my favorite extra but my daily workout includes stretching, some weight training and aerobics. I don’t think I will be renewing that overpriced gym membership!
Wii Fit Plus is a great family investment my parents made. I am a 20 year old fitness enthusiast. My family observes fitness and wellness religiously and the Wii Fit Plus just raised our fitness times to a T. It also served as a great bonding time for our family. The good news is, It’s safe for all ages as depending on the programs to use and the level of work-outs and exercises. Even my 14 year old sister uses it. The hula-hoop also serves as a family game time challenge for us on who could do more or better with the hoops.
I work practically 10 hours a day and virtually, I’ve got no time to work-out at the gym and jogging every 6a.m is considered as my official fitness regime. But that was before Wii Fit Plus. Compared to it’s predecessor, It’s much more oomph by features that bachelor’s like me , on my age could use. And with it, I experienced that Yoga could be fun for stags like me too. It’s like having a gym buddy and a personal trainer in one cause it monitor my progress and what’s left to be worked on. My Wii Fit Plus just makes me look forward to working out and keeping fit everyday.
