Street art especially over the last decade has exploded and became one of the most talked about styles of art out there. Street Art The Graffiti Revolution is a fantastic in depth account of the phenomenon of street art. With its amazing high quality art work and interesting stories about street art such as graffiti, stencil art, stickers as well as others. This street art book contains interviews some which are exclusive to this book with some of the most important people in the street art world. Such artists as Futura 2000, Os Gemeos, Lady Pink and a whole bunch of other artist some of whom have over 30 years experience in the world of street art.
This is a book dedicated to those artists who used the streets as there canvas. A great read as well as an amazing art book with funny and well written tales about cities and artists of some of these phenomenal artists. This is a very inspirational book for any one who has the slightest interest in art.
This would be a great gift idea for anyone who is a fan of graffiti or who appreciates art. Would make a interesting coffee table book and a really good conversation piece.
I was impressed enough with the description to buy the book and I’m glad I did so. Some of the photos included feature graffiti art that is amazing. The price is just about right for this book and while I wished it contained a little more info on the artists and their works, this does make for a great coffee table book. This is a real conversation starter among my friends who love art.
