It’s a simple copper candleholder but for the provocative shape. The designer nailed this one on the head. The jointed, sectioned legs stick out at strange, realistically spider-like angles, resting delicately on the tips of pointed toes. The abdomen bulge tapers to a convincing point, and the thorax holds the candle… but we are grateful to the designer and relieved to report that there’s no head. That would be crossing the line.
