Chocolate Box Puzzle Game: The premise is simple enough, but the possibilities are endless. ThinkFun Chocolate Fix is a game that accomplishes the most formidable of tasks: having kids be logical and think about stuff and have fun for hours. True story.
The idea: player has to fill a 3×3 grid with chocolate-shaped pieces in different shapes and colors. Player must do so by figuring out the rules based on a handful of pictures.
THIS GAME IS SO FUN. Beginner and Medium level are as they say. We did get stuck for a minute on advanced — it’s pretty advanced. Then on expert, we had to clear the board a couple times until we got it right.
Now there are 40 puzzles included. If a math brain Sudoku junkie takes six minutes to complete an advanced puzzle, imagine how much play your child is going to get out of this game. We suggest buying some graph paper too, so you can create your own puzzles. That’s a totally different level. That’s Genius level.
This is a very challenging puzzle game. Though the rules seem simple (placing the chocolates according to the rules), it’s actually a real brain exercise. I’ve only been able to work out some of the Advanced level, and I have not tried the expert at all yet
I’m not sure how children would fare with this game, but so far, I’m enjoying it, and I’m 23. This game is definitely worth your money, I highly recommend this product especially if you love puzzles.
